Item # CNHE08010101 Measurement: SEE Below Condition:  Excellent Description:  1960's Vintage Couture Rhinestone Runway Collar Necklace Please view all pictures                                             1960's Vintage Chanel Gripoix Runway Collar Necklace f you love couture vintage jewelry then this piece is for you!  It’s absolutely stunning.  If you’ve been on the fence to about buying a piece of Chanel,  then now’s probably the best time.     If you have that gorgeous couture wedding dress and can’t find the appropriate necklace to wear with it, consider this one! This is a three strand poured glass and crystal rhinestone couture runway Chanel necklace--choker.  It is absolutely breathtaking!   There are 12 poured glass cabochons of amber, purple and ruby red.  There are 42 brilliant* rhinestones measures 15mm in diameter.       It is marked Chanel ©  Made in France.  There are varying degrees of patina on the underside of the piece which consist of French filigree cups.  Each link is hooked on the the following link giving the piece a lot of fluid movement.  This piece is really weighty but I don’t have a scale to measure it’s weight  so I weighed myself at 115.4 lbs and then got on with the necklace and weighted 115.6.  It feels heavier than 3.2 ounces but I’m not sure.  It wears high on the neck and can be seen from a distance!  Perfect for an evening at the Oscars or Fashion Week.  Condition:       This piece is in near excellent condition.  However it must be noted that one rhinestone yellowing.  It appears to have the foil cracked underneath.  I imagine however that many of the places in Providence Rhode Island who have a fantastic collection of Swarozski rhinestones would be able to help with this.    It doesn’t however take away from the overall beauty but is noticeable because all of the other rhinestones are so vibrant and sparkly.    This auction includes a Chanel box.  This box is not original to the piece as that box disappeared some how.  This box is a terrific display of lovely velvet and satin.  One of the leather fasteners however has pulled out and I can’t get it to go back in.     Price:  $7729.00                          Rental Considered With Signed Contract And Hold of Full  Retail Value
