This beautiful Original by Robert brooch features hand-wrapped seed beads in a circular motion surmounted at center by a faceted aurora borealis crystal. The brooch is further accented with aurora bi-cone crystals and larger crystals with a “Marguerite” like faceting. The metal Japanned metal finish serves as the perfect canvas for the hand-wiring. “Original by Robert” was part of the Fashioncraft (Fashion-craft. Note two different spellings in trade journals) jewelry line. For dating, in 1950, Fashioncraft created “woven crystal and bead pins” that quivered.
