This is a beautiful vintage mosaic pin from Italy. These are often erroneously referred as Micro mosaic, but the tiles are not the same as true Micro Mosaic work. This beautiful pin has an unusual pattern in the tiles that is different from a lot of the floral mosaic pins we see. It’s more geometric in it’s balance of design. The colors are rather brilliant, albeit mostly primary colors.
