Description: Vintage Elzac “Bonnet Head” featuring transparent orange-colored Lucite and an African mask face. The “bonnet” is ruffled around the figural face. The face is ceramic, opposed to plastic as some of this specific Elzac design were made. The design was patented in 1943 by Elliot Handler. The patent number is: #135,101.
