This is a magnificent Coro Bellflower designed by Adolph Katz in 1939. The patent number is: 115,266. There are a number of variations of this design and this piece will make a great addition to your collection. This is the left side of a duette. It features an enameled bellflower with a shell-like bead stamen. The stems as well of the receptacle of the flower are encrusted with circ. rhinestones. The leaves are enameled. There is virtually no enamel loss on this piece making it an amazing find! The plating is in great condition. The square-shaped rhinestones need some attention as some are missing or replaced with incorrect rhinestones. Some tiny circ. stones have darkened or appear darkened depending on the lighting.
